Landworks were engaged by the Hugh Green Group to provide Civil Engineering services for this shopping and retail centre at Greville Road, Pinehill.
Landworks were involved from the beginning when the site was a greenfield block of land, through to completion of the retail centre.
Landworks designed the civil infrastructure from a green fields site and included over 25,000m3 of earthworks, 8.5m high Mechanically Stabilised Earth retaining walls, over 400m of stormwater pipes and 300m of wastewater pipes, 150m of water supply pipes, overland flowpath and stormwater management, car park design and public road works on Greville Road.
The main challenge of this site was to design compliant access and car park grades and level building slopes on a relatively steep piece of land. We are proud to know we overcame this challenge and successfully designed this project, and ensured it was built correctly.
