Landworks provided civil engineering services from Resource Consent through to construction for this recently completed terraced housing development in Greenlane. The project delivered 9 terraced houses, with the front lot provisioned for a future apartment complex.
Design considerations included an existing notifiable tree, located within the front of the lot, ensuring the Civil design minimized impact to the tree.
Construction challenges included the new public wastewater pipe, which also serviced the neighbouring development at 12 Tawera Road. Installing the pipe involved obtaining and coordinating neighbour approvals and working closely with an arborist due to an existing established tree.
